With the Xiaomi Mesh System 2- or 3-packs, all units are already paired before leaving the factory. You can choose any unit as the main router. After configuring the network of the main router, simply turn on the remaining units to automatically create a mesh network. Xiaomi's exclusive Mesh technology makes it possible to connect a main router to multiple satellite routers, creating a comprehensive home network that effectively eliminates signal blind spots in complex home layouts. One unit covers up to 140 square meters, two units up to 260 square meters, and three units up to 370 square meters.
